Blackmon Pediatrics COVID-19 update, 2 April, 2020
Good evening. There is so much going on, I am not sure I know where to start.
- Housekeeping: Well Child visits and follow up appointments are being seen in the mornings; sick appointments in the afternoons. Everyone on staff is now wearing a mask throughout the day. This is for everyone’s protection. We are washing our hands constantly. We are trying to not touch our faces. We are cleaning and re-cleaning. Your children’s well child visits and immunizations continue to be vitally important.
- Above said, keep calling with questions and concerns, we will help you decide when or if your sick child should be seen, and we will do our level best to minimize any exposure to COVID-19 should you need to be seen. We are here and in it for the long haul.
- It’s a weird, surreal time. The latest on our front is Dr. Greg shaved this evening - first time in ten or more years. Yes, he still has a baby face.
